After living in this town for decades and decades one runs out of things to shoot. Frank, my partner in crime, decided..... why not make a list of some of the murals... that had caught our eyes while driving around, and make a project of it.
Hence, on a windy, cool day a couple of weeks ago.....a shooting we went.
Murals have become a staple in Montreal’s colourful visual identity over the past several years as the city has become a beacon for graffiti artists and street art fans.
The city has more than 3,000 murals spread out across the island and here I've rounded up a very small sampling of the ones that caught my eyes.
