After living in this town for decades and decades one runs out of things to shoot. Frank, my partner in crime, decided..... why not make a list of some of the murals... that had caught our eyes while driving around, and make a project of it.
Hence, on a windy, cool day a couple of weeks ago.....a shooting we went.
Of course, as per always, other items caught my eyes and I had to click.
Some of the more colorful murals are painted by a couple of very talented artists by the names of Lyndsay and Spencer Stokes. They actually have a mural service in town and are commissioned to create some of the beautiful designs such as the few below.
By no means are these the only murals around town. Some of the murals are located in areas where there are too many obstructions in order to get a good shot and others located in areas way out of reach.
And of course, no project in this town is complete without involving Lincoln.
