Paint The Street

 The annual Springfield Art Association's fund raiser "Paint the Street" was last weekend.The fundraiser involves closing down one of the downtown streets and painting a  6 ft x 6 ft squares. Each square registration received one paint supply bucket (including the tempera paint which is water soluble) one giveaway bag with goodies from sponsors, and one Paint the Street t-shirt. There were 244 entrants and I was asked to...

Around Town

 Without a doubt one of my favorites genres of photography aside from macro, is street photography. I like walking around and just clicking.Most street photographers suggest one find a spot, position oneself for the foot traffic and click when a worthy image transpires.I rarely follow that suggestion.Instead most often I follow the hip photography style or just walk around and cick.I find candid shots to be much more appealing than portrait...
