On one of the hotest days this season, everyone around my neighborhood wanted to be close to water, including these cardinals.
While it looks like just one cardinal, because after all they all look alike, it really was several. Or maybe it was the same one, just making several trips.
I was taken by all the action therefor, clicked away.

Love the wing shots. Scrolling down had a sort of joyful feel to see their happy splashing. I almost wanted a dip myself. It's been equally hot (pro rata) here.

ReplyDeleteThis one is definitely a she. The only bird I can tell apart only because the male version is so much prettier...ok more handsome, ЁЯШЙ since they are bright, bright red.
