Seattle; The Emerald City

You never really get the feel for a city and its people until you have spent some time walking around. I don't mean walking around the touristic places, but rather meandering through streets and alleys with no specific destination.

Obviously, along with this meandeing comes the pressing of the shutter button.

And that is exactly what I did for a few hours while in Seattle.

The photos compiled here are a representation of what caught my eye during my walk.

  1. Wonderful! So glad you had the time to explore. How was the Downtown Dentist? Did you get a root canal?😆

    1. 🤣🤣🤣 I was hoping it was just a cart with advertisement on it and no some actual dentist going around pulling teeth. But then again at this day and age anything is possible.

  2. 73 seemed to sum the place up, Street Art that someone thought was a good use of public money and the homeless guy. We seem to be plagued everywhere these days with mediocre art that is littering every bit of open space a city has. I'm not aware that anyone asks for it, it just gets thrust on us. Your photos are excellent, but it looks to be a place on the edge, huge extremes of wealth and poverty, like a third world country.

    1. 73 doesn't bother me as much as 33/34. When I saw it I thought it was a safety net for people working on the building. Apparently it's not. It's supposed be Art. 🙄 Guess where the title came from.😏😏

    2. Looks like a Chinese fishing net. Maybe they should lower it randomly and catch homeless people in it.
