Goodbye Seattle, Hello Solstice!

 Time to move on!

Saying goodbye to Seattle and heading towards new destitnations on the BIG BOAT.

The "Big Boat" will take us to several ports and while heading towards those ports, we will enjoy making new friends, eating deliciously prepared food, consuming adult beverages, receiving excellent service and being entrtained by numerous talented artists.

Since we are spending majority of our travel time on the Big Boat, it is only fair to show you around.

We will start with deck 15, the Lawn Club/ Sunset Bar 😉.

This is where we said goodbye to Seattle.

This is also where the sun said goodbye to us, for the next few days.

And we were off .....

While I didn't take a photo of every nook and cranny on this ship, I did take a few so as to keep this experience a vivid memory.

As the name suggests, The Lawn Club is an outdoor park-like relaxation area (sized over 2000 m2 / 21550 ft2) covered with living grass (creeping bentgrass).

All  forms of lawn games, can be played in this are, which include 3-hole Mini Golf (putting green course), two Bocce courts, Lawn Bowling, and Croquet.

Included in this area is large movie screen as well.

And occasionally one can find a stowaway.

If glassblowing is your thing, then you are on the right ship. On this same deck, Celebrity Solstice in partnership with Corning Museum of Glass has glassblowing demonstrations and classes.

Go down to deck 14 and you can jog yourself around the jogging track or take your dog for a walk.

Right below deck 14  you have the pools, the hot tub, the pool bar, the solarium, the fitness center, the spa, the hair salon......I can go on.  But instead I shall post some of the photos from that area.

I can go on and on describing every deck and all the ammenities included, instead I am just going to post photos I took that grabbed my attention.

It is definitely a ship worth cruising with. It has everything one can imagine for enterainment and having a good time. But I think what sets it apart from most other cruise lines, is the crew and staff. They are the most attentive and helpful personnel.

Five star rating as far as service is concerned.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Check out the video below. Bet you decide to get on board the Solstice next time you want a vacation.

  1. OK, nice start to the travelogue. I see you managed to get security called on you right away - too rowdy? That darn Celebrity crowd is like that. Can't wait to see more!

    1. 🤣🤣🤣 You are not far off with that comment. All the tables surounding ours at dinner time, emptied out day by day. To the point where the last few days we had the corner of the dinning room all to ourselves. Ten rowdy people having a good ol time 😉
