"Wabi- Sabi is a Japanese concept that centers around acceptance of imperfection and impermanence".
This week's challenge was to look for beauty in things that are not necessarily shinny and new but yet have an eye appeal that can not be ignored.
I looked around and found quite a few that were appealing to my eye.
And so another week behind me.
Nice job. We definitely have similar tastes. We like things that are old and crusty.
ReplyDeleteMight have something to do with age? Just saying :)
DeleteVery nice set - I favor the chain link fence. It's so emblematic of impermanence and imperfection in this part of the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks John. I really couldn't decide which to submit, the chain fence or the stink bug. Bet you know which I submitted 😁
DeleteSome excellent shots here. My first thought when I saw the title was green very hot mustard but that's a different Wasabi. I like this wasabi better.😊 Never knew there was a name for a lot of the shots I seem to take.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I like this weekly challenge. Always something to offer as far as learning is concerned and of course it fulfills my need to click.
DeleteNice images. You certainly filled the brief, I also think they are appealing.
